Shotgun Eddys started with a simple idea: build the kind of place we'd want to walk into after a long day outdoors. A place with real food, cold drinks, a warm fire, and room for everybody.
Tucked into the little community of Eddyville, just minutes from the bluffs of Garden of the Gods and the trailheads of the Shawnee National Forest, we sit right where the back roads meet the wilderness. That location turned out to be everything. Hikers came in muddy and hungry. Families pulled off the highway looking for breakfast. Motorcycle clubs rolled through on Sunday rides. Locals claimed their favorite stools.
Before long, Shotgun Eddys wasn't just a restaurant — it was a gathering place. The spot where travelers swap trail stories with regulars, where the band plays late on the patio, and where strangers leave as friends. That's the heart of what we do, and it hasn't changed a bit.
